welcome to the discussion forum for the pregnancy loss listening circles. this is a connection space for people who have participated in at least one live listening circle and who want to stay in connection.

what we're calling in (please do this!):

• sharing of names and birthdays of your babies who couldn't stay

• expressions of gratitude or condolences for one another

• personal story sharing

• centering the person sharing, not ourselves, in our replies

• naming our emotions, joys, and frustrations

• use of honest, open questions with one another when invited

• unquestioning respect and positive regard for one another

• generally following the community guidelines of circle

what we're keeping out (please don't do this):

• giving medical advice, solutions, or suggestions of "things to try"

• asking for medical advice, solutions, or suggestions of "things to try"

• sharing anyone else's personal details or experiences

• off-topic sharing of any kind

it can be tough to maintain a narrow focus, but please remember there are plenty of places to do all of these other things. our task and commitment here is simply to be a place to tell our stories, express ourselves, and be heard. if you're unsure about something you want to post, simply ask yourself, "is this about me and my own personal experience?". if the answer is no, this is not the best place to post. if you can't imagine sharing what you want to share in a deep listening circle, this is not the best place to post.

because i am only one person and this work is a love offering of time and energy, this page will only be lightly moderated, and content not in keeping with our work will be removed so that we can all stay together in a safe, productive, and focused way.
